Message from President's Desk

Hon’ble Members, Colleagues, Stake holders and the Well Wishers.

At the very onset, I, on behalf of Aikyatan Development Society (ADS) want to extend my most sincere thanks to all our donors, supporters and well-wishers for their timely and generous support in accomplishing our planned intervention to witness tangible outcome associated with awareness, sanitation, mother & child health, menstrual hygiene management, adolescent health, geriatric care, health savings and livelihood initiatives being experienced amongst most disadvantaged population residing in remote rural and tribal villages of Purba Bardhaman district of West Bengal state.

ADS’s decadal journey in the development sphere has equipped its staff with professional expertise along with practical exposure in planning, execution, monitoring, networking and documentation of all the field intervention targeted to benefit of vulnerable section of the society covering a total population of 2,73,192 represented 14 needy Gram Panchayats of both Ausgram-I & II Block of Purba Bardhaman district.

ADS believes in harnessing and nurturing hidden potential of women’s collectives in addressing any issues of the communities very effectively promoting participatory as well as sustainable linkages approach.

While working in challenging environment, ADS has experienced numerous hurdles in terms of community mobilization, program implementation, linkages with service providers and procuring timely funding support to sustain its ongoing activities over the years that helped ADS to earn community support in continuing its ongoing intervention during critical period.

In order to continue our noble efforts, I must thank all my colleagues who have been incredible in supporting our endeavour in reaching out to vulnerable population through various development initiatives aligned with the objectives of our organization.

At the end, I sincerely thank and acknowledge all of you for your incredible generosity and ongoing support to continue our efforts in addressing multiple social issues in our project areas.
